What does video cost in 2026?
At the scope each kind of shoot is usually booked at, $600 – $2,700 covers most of it. The single biggest thing moving you inside that is how far the edit goes.
Where the money goes, by shoot type
Five kinds of shoot, priced at national rates, each split into the day on site and the post-production afterwards.
What each kind of shoot runs
five types · one axisEach bar is that shoot at the scope it is usually booked at. The grey part is the day on site; the gold part is everything done to the footage afterwards — which is the half of the bill most people have never had itemised for them.

What people ask before they book
Why a range instead of one price?
Because the two ends are different products. The bottom is the footage handed over; the top is a finished, colour-graded film. Same day on site, different amounts of work afterwards, and the gap between them is usually the largest single item in the budget.
What decides where I land in it?
Edit depth first, by a distance. Then hours on site, then camera count, then add-ons like drone or a live stream, then your market. Those five inputs are the whole model — there is nothing else in it.
Are these real prices or estimates?
Estimates, calibrated against video work we have really delivered rather than invented for a page. The videographer you hire sets the final price for your specific shoot; we do not set, fix, or recommend anyone’s rates.
Does my city change the number?
Yes. Every estimate carries a per-market factor, so the same shoot prices higher in San Francisco than in a smaller market. Coverage, cameras and editing move with it; add-ons stay national.
What does any of this cost me?
Nothing. There is no account, no fee and no commission — you book and pay the videographer directly, and whatever you pay is what they keep.
Every market we price
