You book a two-shooter wedding and then spend three days asking around. The people you trust are booked. The people who reply, you have never seen shoot.
Everyone in this business solves it the same way — a group chat, a Facebook group, a spreadsheet of numbers that goes stale. It works until the Saturday it doesn’t.
Three steps, no messaging app
Open your calendar in your account and mark the days you’re available to shoot for someone else. Nothing is public until you opt in.
Pick a date and see local videographers who are free that day and shoot the same kind of work. You see their reel and their work — not just a name.
Send a request. If they accept, you each get the other’s email and take it from there. We step out of the way.
Your contact stays yours until you say yes
Search results show your name, city, shoot types, reel and work. They never show your email.
Contact details are exchanged at the moment a request is accepted, and only between those two people. Declining costs you nothing and tells the other person nothing beyond a no. You can switch discoverability off at any time and disappear from search immediately.
What this costs
Nothing. There is no fee to be discoverable, to search, to request, or to accept — and no cut of whatever you agree to pay each other. It exists because a videographer who can reliably crew up takes bigger bookings, and we would rather you took them.
You need a free listing to use it, so we know who is asking. That is the only requirement.
